Good vision matters before the ball is even in play.
Football players constantly track their own team, opponents, the ball and open space. Visual information is essential for finding their position and making decisions on the pitch.
Evaluate distances
Depth perception helps players judge ball flight, distance and speed when passing, heading or defending the goal.
Avoid visual loss
Uncorrected vision problems or symptoms can make perception harder. Suitable correction and assessment of unusual symptoms provide a reliable basis.
